For those of you that follow Adaptiva, you know that we pride ourselves on developing a team of people who are hard-working and committed to the success of our customers. We also like them to be good people who have a sharp mind and a bit of sharp wit to go along with it. Our newest hire brings all of those qualities to us in spades. Please join me in welcoming Ami Casto to the Adaptiva team as our Technical Evangelist.

Ami Casto joins Adaptiva

Ami comes to us from the National Opinion Research Center (NORC) at the University of Chicago where she was a Senior Systems Administrator managing all things ConfigMgr related at the university. She may be better known in our industry, however, for her exceptional work as Technical Editor at Deployment Artist where she is responsible for contributing content to create the best possible books, guides and training products for Windows Operating Systems, Deployment and Systems Management. Ami also founded and oversees the Women in Tech Group to create a place where women who are working in the realm of enterprise management, mobility, and security can network and share ideas.

Ami is a featured speaker at numerous ConfigMgr related user groups and events throughout the industry, including the popular Midwest Management Summit where Adaptiva is the diamond sponsor this year. She is also part of the planning committee for the IT/Dev Connections event happening in San Francisco in October.

As Technical Evangelist at Adaptiva Ami will be responsible for leading the company’s efforts to engage with and contribute to the technical systems management community. In this highly technical role, Ami will create relationships with community influencers, present at industry events, user groups, and webinars, and oversee the creation of tools that make IT pros’ lives easier.

You will first be able to see Ami in action presenting at the Windows IT Pro “Mastering Windows 10” Virtual Tradeshow on April 27th. You can also follow her recent posts on what’s new in ConfigMgr by subscribing to the Adaptiva blog at:  And if you aren’t following Ami on Twitter already then you are truly missing out:

We feel fortunate to have Ami bring her spirit, tenacity and excellent ConfigMgr skill to our growing team. Welcome aboard!
